The City is accepting applications for the Cemetery Board, Green Board, Planning Commission (City Representative), Public Safety Advisory Board and Board of Zoning Appeals. Interested applicants must submit this application
to City Hall, Attn: City Clerk, 401 N. Madison, P. O. Box 424, Spring Hill, KS 66083. Applications accepted until Noon, Feb 27, 2015.
Persons interested in serving must be either a resident of the Spring Hill School District No. 230 or own one or more Spring Hill Cemetery burial lots. The term ends February 2018. The Cemetery Board meetings are held at the call of the Chairperson.
Persons interested in serving must be either a resident of the Spring Hill City Limits or the Spring Hill School District No. 230. The term ends in February 2018 and February 2016. The meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at 7:00p.m.
The City is accepting applications for City Representatives for the Spring Hill Planning Commission. Persons interested in serving must be a resident of the Spring Hill city limits. The term expires in February 2018. The Planning Commission meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00p.m.
Public Safety Advisory Board
The City is accepting applications for the Spring Hill Public Safety Advisory Board. Persons interested in applying shall be duly qualified electors of the city of Spring Hill, reside, or own a business located in the city of Spring Hill. Membership should also reflect a diversity of civic, service charitable, religious and business groups. All members will be subjected to pass a criminal background check. Applicants with any person felony, drug conviction, or any person misdemeanor shall be eliminated from application process. Applicants convicted for any other crimes not listed above will be on case by case basis. A five-year span of time shall be the minimum allotted time for convictions or diversion’s before an applicant can apply for this committee.
Board of Zoning Appeals
Persons interested in applying shall be taxpayers and residents of the City. Term expires June 2017.
