The City of Spring Hill currently has an open position for a Street Maintenance Worker. This employee is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of city streets. Generally, this position will deal with street maintenance including snow removal, street repairs and equipment operation. Municipal experience, backhoe and dump truck operation experience preferred. The essential function of this position is to be responsible for security of various City facilities. Duties include unlocking and locking the facility, set up for certain activities, monitoring the facility during scheduled events, public relations, and security of facility. Basic first-aid training and CPR certification preferred. Hours vary and include evening, weekday, and weekend all year long. Must be flexible, highly responsible and at least 21 years of age. $7.50/ hour.
