The Street Department has three full time employees who are responsible for routine maintenance of the City's streets, crosswalks and storm water collection system.  Routine maintenance of the 30 miles of City streets consists of pothole repairs, street paving, crack sealing, ice and snow removal, and street striping.  Maintenance of the storm water collection system requires regular inspections for removal of debris at drain openings, residential driveway culverts and road ditches.
