Green Board
Overview

The Green Board acts in an advisory capacity to the Governing Body in the development, creation, maintenance, function, and policies in the operation of City parks and trails. Green Board formation is detailed in Municipal Code 1.905.

The Green Board recently created a Park Brochure and is proud to be a member of
Tree City USA®.  The Board also implemented the Paper Recycling Program to help fund projects for the Spring Hill Parks.

The adoption of the Comprehensive Park Master Plan presents the City, School District and Recreation Commission an opportunity to intensify its commitment to a strong park and trail system, recreation facilities and recreation program.
