Two of the community’s major employers have worked with Burlington Northern to construct two spurs to serve their manufacturing needs. · Two of the state’s busiest airports are less than 20 minutes away. New Century AirCenter, 175th Street and I-35, and Johnson County Executive Airport, 151st and Pflumm Road, are both county operated. New Century includes two asphalt runways with air traffic controls. Executive has one asphalt runway with an air traffic control tower. ·
International
air service is provided through Kansas City International Airport in
Kansas City, Mo. More than 250 daily commercial flights leave KCI which is
