Red Cross Swimming Lessons are available at the pool. Please contact the SHRC at 592-2214 for information. North and Washington Streets Spring Hill, KS 66083 Year-round adult and youth athletic activities are planned by the Spring Hill Recreation Commission. The association operates the Spring Hill Sports Complex. Fishing is permitted at Spring Hill Lake, which is located just west of U.S. 169 Highway on Lone Elm Road and Lake Road. Please click here for the Fishing Rules and Regulations. Located eight miles south of Spring Hill, Hillsdale Lake provides flood protection along Big Bull Creek. Its facilities also include a campground, horse trails and hunting preserves. There is camping and fishing available at the lake with picnic pavilions for day-trippers .As part of the Osage River Basin, it also contributes to flood protection on the Marais des Cygnes, Osage and Missouri rivers. The lake is located about two miles west of U.S. 169 Highway on 255th Street. It is a water supply source for municipal and industrial needs of surrounding communities.
