CODE BOARD OF APPEALS VACANCIES

The City of Spring Hill is accepting applications for creating the Spring Hill Code Board of Appeals (CBOA).  The Board is established in order to hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the code official relative to the application and interpretation of the “Spring Hill Building Code” Edition 2007.  This Board consists of seven members and two alternates appointed by the Governing Body of Spring Hill, KS.  Individuals from the following professions or backgrounds shall be considered for appointment:  Registered Design Professional who is a Registered Architect; or, Registered Engineer in the State of Kansas;  General Contractor holding a current Contractors License within Johnson or Miami County;  Electrical Contractor holding a current Contractors License within Johnson or Miami County;  Plumbing Contractor holding a current Contractors License within Johnson or Miami County;  Mechanical Contractor holding a current Contractors License within Johnson or Miami County;  Citizen residing within Johnson or Miami County.  The Board shall meet for a regular meeting once annually, or at such other time as may be determined by the Board.  Special meetings are held at the call of the Chairman.  Applications are available by clicking here or at City Hall, 401 N.
