The City of Spring Hill is located in the southern part of the Kansas City metro area, approximately 5 miles south of Olathe. Spring Hill has 13 sworn officers within the Police Department.
Salary - Salary range is $14.52-$20.42 depending upon experience. The Police Department is a member of the KP&F Retirement System. 10 paid Holidays per year and accumulate 7 hours of vacation per month with a maximum of 120 hrs for 0-10 years of service. Uniforms are supplied by the Department as well as Department issued weapon and employees receive $100 per year for boot allowance. Excellent insurance benefits.
Minimum Qualifications - Kansas certification is preferred or must be eligible for reciprocity through KLETC. 21 years of age. Citizen of the United States. High School diploma or equivalent. No felony convictions or serious misdemeanors. Live within the state of Kansas and within 30 minutes drive time of the Department.
