The City Hall Receptionist is a front-line position dealing directly with the public under the supervision of the Administrative Services/Finance Director. 

The Receptionist: 
  • Exhibits a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Answers and transfers multi-line phone system calls appropriately. 
  • Assists in scanning documents for multiple departments.
  • Posts utility payments to customer accounts.
  • Reserves City facilities for the public, civic groups, and City staff.
  • Provides administrative support to multiple departments.


Successful applicants will have excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, cheerful demeanor. 
Required skills include:
  • Knowledge of multi-line phone system.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications and basic office equipment.
  • Cash-handling experience.
  • Strong data entry skills.
Starting pay is $13.18/hour. This is a part-time position with 20-24 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
This is a non-exempt position. No city residency required.
