Saturday, Sept. 15 -- Spring Hall Fall Festival
A parade, crafts, games and visit from the Pony Express.
Members of the Spring Hill Green Board will be on hand with commemorative
trees for sale. The volunteers are working to plant 150 trees during
this historic year.
Saturday, October 20 -- Morning Grange Annual
Turkey Dinner and Bazaar
This annual event takes place at the
Morning Grange Hall, 23910 W.191st Street, 3 miles west of 169
Highway on 191st Street. Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m.
Auction begins about 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the quilt raffle,
bazaar and auction benefit SafeHome. A portion of the dinner's
proceeds will be donated to the Spring Hill Sesquicentennial Legacy

Community Costume Carnival
A safe Halloween activity for area children is organized by Grace
Community Church. The community event takes place in the Civic Center,
401 N. Madison.
Saturday, Dec. 1 -- Hometown Holidays
A family event at the Civic Center, 401 N. Madison, to kick off
the holiday season. Activities include lighting of the Mayor's
Christmas Tree.

Locks of Love
Perfect Details, 516 N.
Webster, is offering collecting donations for
Locks of Love. In
addition to collecting the natural hair donations, each stylist will donate
50 percent of the salon's hair cutting fee to the organization. Locks of
Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially
disadvantaged children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair
loss from any diagnosis. You can find out more about this

Sunday, March 11-- Kick-off Celebration and Birthday
Party
From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. activities will take place in the
Civic Center, 401 N. Madison. Entertainment will begin at 2 p.m. with
presentations at 2:30 p.m. Cake and ice cream will be served following
the presentations. Members of Cole Smith Unit No. 350 of the American
Legion Auxiliary will conduct a bake sale.

More than 350 people were involved in the event. Spring Hill
High School students and community members prepared the Civic Center
for the day's activities. |

Saturday, March 31-- Daddy Daughter Date Night
Join
the Spring Hill Recreation Commission for a night of glam, glitz, and
glitter at the Fourth Annual Daddy Daughter Date Night at 6 p.m.
in the
Civic Center, 401 N. Madison.

Community Egg Hunt
Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers through sixth grade with a special category for
special needs children. Hunts begin at 9 a.m. with each age category
beginning at a separate time. Grace Community Church, 19300 South US
169 Highway, organizes and sponsors this event offered to the entire
community.

Tuesday, April 10, 2007 -- "Old Town, New Town, Where
in the World is Downtown?"
It's hard to believe that our downtown actually picked up and moved over a
hundred years ago. Please join Jim Wilson for a walking tour of Spring
Hill's historic district and fascinating tales of intrigue guaranteed to
bring a smile! The Spring Hill Historical Society will meet at the corner of
Main and Hale Streets at 7 p.m.

Saturday, May 5 -- Spring Hill
Ruritans Club Bicycle Ride
Registration begins at 7 a.m. in the parking lot
Spring Hill Elementary School with the ride starting at 8 a.m. About 60
riders typically take place in this event. Riders donate $15 for the
20 mile ride and $20 for the 60 mile ride. Proceeds will benefit the
Spring Hill High School Band and the Sesquicentennial Legacy Project.
A free lunch will be provided for participants. The first 70 cyclists
will receive an event T-shirt. Entertainment will be provided by the Spring
Hill High School Jazz Band. For more information about this event, contact

Cancellation Imprint
A one-time event only marking the date Spring Hill's
property lines were officially surveyed. The Spring Hill Post Office will
mark outgoing mail taken to the Post Office with a commemorative cancellation of the year's logo.
No additional postage fees apply.

Saturday, June 9, 5 p.m. -- All School Reunion
Members of Spring Hill's graduating classes will be treated to a special
performance by former members of the Spring Hill Madrigals and Spring Hill
Choral. Events will take place at 5 p.m. at Spring Hill Elementary
School, 300 South Webster. For more information about the event, contact

Friday, June 15 -- Spaghetti Dinner
Cole-Smith Post No. 350 of the American Legion will serve a
spaghetti dinner at the Civic Center, 401 N. Madison.
