Art and Essay Contest Winners

The theme of the Art Contest was:
Spring Hill: Past, Present and Future 
Capture your version of the City of Spring Hill, either long ago, today, or in the future.

All entries were original student artwork.  Any art medium was acceptable with the exception of computer graphics, photographs or copyright/trademark items.  Entries were judged on age-appropriate concept originality, presentation, compliance with theme and general neatness.

Kindergarten-2nd grade     Why I Love Spring Hill -- Winner Dakota Crookston
Must be neatly written on lined paper, 1-3 pages long.

3rd grade - 5th grade     If I Were the Mayor of Spring Hill… -- Winner Jazmyn Gregg
Must be neatly written on lined paper or typed double-spaced, 1-3 pages long.

6th grade - 7th grade     Write A Spring Hill Travel Brochure -- Winner Madison Ogle
Describe everything that Spring Hill has to offer, just like a travel brochure!
Must be typed double-spaced, 1-3 pages long.

8th grade - 12th grade     Ideas for a Bright Spring Hill Future
Must be typed double-spaced, 2-4 pages long.

All entries were original ideas with minimal adult help on standard 8 1/2 x 11” paper.  Entries were judged on age-appropriate concept originality, presentation, compliance with theme and general neatness.
